As a genre-defying alchemist, Cosmicus blends eerie beats with cosmic vibes; creating a magickal and unconventional sound.

Born and raised on the streets of inner-city Chicago, Cosmicus grew up in one of the most eclectic decades of music history – the 90s. With a unique, genre-bending unconventional sound, his production technique is somewhat reminiscent of that era.

He was always an avid music listener, but never an artist…until covid hit. Bored by quarantine lock-down, Cosmicus used his stimulus money to build a music recording studio in his bedroom. He recorded beats, but never completed a full song. Covid restrictions lifted, and his beats went untouched for months.

After a magickal trip to the Blue Ridge Mountains, the beat making flame was re-ignited, and he accomplished the goal of releasing Drop It, his debut single, in early 2023.

During the fall season of 2023, Cosmicus released his Halloween EP, Haunted Eve. Because of the engagement and success of that EP, he released his first full-length Halloween album, Stalking Evil, in September of 2024. To celebrate his love for Halloween and horror, Cosmicus created 2 amazing playlists for the spooky season: Scary Halloween Music – Ambient Sounds and Movie Soundtrack Scores and Scary Halloween Party Music.
